Well, I know its been a while but I have been a bit busy with work and etc.
I migrated my router to a Linux security appliance from a windows server box. Therefore cutting my electric bill since I don’t need to have a computer on all the time (over 200 watts a day).
I am currently selling my iPhone 3GS 32GB on craigs if anyone is interested. I wasn’t really using the data anyway and it was just costing me more, and more money. So I just picked up a non-smart phone and I am happy so far with it.
I hope to get more involved with the blog once again, just need to finish off a few more things.
Well, after using the phone for about a few weeks, I noticed some battery issues people have been talking about. Of course it depends on use, but I think it still does pretty decent job for a device this small, and powerful. In short, I am very happy with this device, and I am happy about the purchase. I just wish the 3G was better in my area, but you can’t get everything you want these days… (picture was taken at another location)
Well, I read online that a number of people are suffering from heating issues with there new 3Gs. I have been fortunate and appear not to have those issue at this time, but I don’t use the phone a lot either – nor do I leave it around.
They have already released a support article about acceptable operating temperatures:

If this is indeed an ongoing issue, I am sure Apple will do something for everyone. If not, then I guess people will start loosing interest in the IPhone and maybe go to the Pre, Blackberry, or some other smart phone 😛
A blog about me and technology…
