HP EX495

I know this has been out for a while now, but it seems to be pretty cool especially if you have (or want) quite a bit of storage on your network. My only concern though, if any is the HD that they include with the system. Granted Seagate is a good brand, but lately they have been having issues with firmware, and even the drive itself.

Looks like I maybe saving for a new “toy” for the end of the year 🙂

UPDATE: Mustang for Sale

Well, I only received maybe two or three emails regarding the Mustang on Craigs. After thinking things though, I realize its maybe a bit too much, so therefore I am going to keep the car for now. Its still young, and it has plenty of power. Who knows – I may mod it even more…lol… 😛

PS I guess I can try ebay, but I don’t think that would help either…

iPad

Well, Apple has done it again, but I am not so sure this one will be a success. The iPad seems to be a great tablet, but honestly its just a ipod on steroids. Granted it looks nice and has a quick processor, but the limited firmware and lack of hardware make it less of a tablet. Granted I don’t expect to have Apple add everything all at once, cause there is always version 2, 3, or even 4 to add things, but at least give us something over the competition.

We will soon see though. We didn’t think the iPod and iPhone would be a success, but now look at it…

Been up to things…

Well, I know its been a while but I have been a bit busy with work and etc.

I migrated my router to a Linux security appliance from a windows server box. Therefore cutting my electric bill since I don’t need to have a computer on all the time (over 200 watts a day).

I am currently selling my iPhone 3GS 32GB on craigs if anyone is interested. I wasn’t really using the data anyway and it was just costing me more, and more money. So I just picked up a non-smart phone and I am happy so far with it.

I hope to get more involved with the blog once again, just need to finish off a few more things.

A blog about me and technology…
